Today team Pixelmator announced their newest project. Pixelmator Pro, coming this fall. Pixelmator has been my preferred image editor for years now. The Pixelmator team is dedicated to macOS and iOS, allowing them to unshackle their app with limitations on other image editing apps designed to work on other platforms.

I’m looking forward to trying out the pro version. Pixelmator promises faster, better workflows with the new version and simplified editing tools. Most interesting is the idea of using machine learning to help the application do more work for me. Check out the announcement page and make sure to watch the video.
