Acorn 7
There’s a new version of Acorn out. Acorn is a great image editor, and the release of Acorn 7 brings all kinds of fun things.
There’s an all new interface. Floating palettes are gone, and now there’s a unified window with a matching toolbar. There’s a new export workflow with tons more options, like specifying a color profile, more formats to save as, precise file size of your export, and a live preview even for PDFs.
One of the new options that’s part of the new export workflow allows you to export all the layers in an image as an animated GIF. You can open up existing animated GIFs, change a single frame or apply filters to a range of frames. You can then export your GIF with the original frames per second or speed or slow it down.
Have you ever taken a photo and the perspective just doesn’t quite look right? This latest version has added a Perspective Fix & Crop tool, which can be used to straighten this up. Acorn 7 is faster, has a brand new color picker, and is optimized for Apple silicon Macs. To try this and a bunch of other new features, you can get Acorn 7 for 50% off the regular price for just $19.99, but this only for a limited time.
